A child’s playroom is a space curated to ignite imagination, joy and intellect. The objects that occupy that space become the source of nostalgia for their owner and the personal attachment children develop with their toys lasts for life. Every object has its own cultural, historical and emotional context. The clock represents our changing concept of time from childhood into adulthood. As children, parents invest a lot of time in creating an environment that inspires and sparks creativity. A place where time can be lost. Yet, as we grow older, the thought and effort that goes into curating our surroundings is often overlooked and the playfulness that was so critical to our childhood often forgotten.
